Meada a Milano e in SecondLife (idearium island)

MGM organizza da anni a Milano l’evento meet the media guru, con il quale si “espongono persone ed aziende alla contaminazione da parte di intelligenze e punti di vista diversi“. Teatro degli incontri, tradizionalmente è la Mediateca di Milano (Via Moscova, 28), ma questa volta ci sarà qualcosa in più.
Idearium ospiterà infatti il workshop (in diretta streaming) sulla propria isola su SecondLife. Quindi, chi non fosse a Milano, potrà vederlo attraverso internet. A patto naturalmente di avere un avatar presentabile. :)
La diretta dovrebbe partire attorno alle 19.00 di questo mart 20 feb. Per trovare il posto giusto cercate “idearium” nella mappa o “meetthemediaguru” nel search. Ci vediamo lì.

ps. John Maeda è Professore emerito e codirettore dell’M.I.T. MediaLab di Boston. Le informazioni sul suo ultimo libro le trovate -anche- in second life, presso la sala dove sarà proiettato lo streaming.

Design & Vision Director at Kallideas Spa + Partner at SrLabs Srl. Leandro has more than 12 years of experience as an interaction designer and manager of IxD teams. He specializes in next generation user interfaces that provide human-like interaction with intelligent virtual assistants. At Kallideas, in Milan, Italy, Leandro is providing detailed specifications for the behaviors of such virtual assistants, including gesture, language, and social skills; defining emotional models that let these assistants respond to the moods of users; and designing visual user interfaces and voice-recognition systems.
